It was a busy week at the Big Tasty Club in Lower Merion... with kids from a variety of schools taking advantage of the cooking camps available during the conferences week.
Monday saw a bespoke designed cooking camp for 12 fantastic 4th and 5th graders from PJDS. Kids were grouped into 4 teams of 3 kids and together they worked on creating Roasted Vegetable Lasagnes, Caesar Salads and Piñata Cupcakes! Wednesday and Thursday we offered the opportunity to cook dinner for the whole family and we were excited to cook with a variety of LMSD students to create a fabulous menu for both days. Friday saw lots of girls from Shipley and Gladwyne participating in a mega baking marathon, taking away Challah, Irish Soda Breads and Sweet Potato Loaves! Awesome kids and really enjoyable week!
